of professional photographic experience combined with an art
degree from Emporia State University, plus many hours of specialized
hands-on courses with nationally known teaching photographers,
Dave's always looking for that great light, just the right pose,
that really great look that he knows is there to be captured

Black & White Specialist

Black
and white isn't just back -- it never left! Black and
White is worthy of everything from the finest studio or
environmental portraiture to fine art photography. If
done right, the subtle differences in tonal values and
mood capturing contrast of black and white can give your
photograph beautiful, rich, timeless qualities to be appreciated
for generations to come.
Something
of a black and white 'purist' Dave uses a medium format
camera, high quality black and white film with the final
product printed on fiber-based paper for archival results
-- often hand printing these himself. Toners and/or original
artistic hand coloring are also used to enhance the beauty
of some black and white photographs.
